Our property features 28 rooms, spread across 6 magnificent, century-old barns that have been carefully renovated, offering views of the Grand-Saint-Bernard landscape and bringing nature right to your doorstep.
For self-catering stays, 3 of our 6 barns can be fully reserved for private use, for a minimum of 2 nights. Each features several bedrooms, as well as a living area and a fully equipped kitchen.
For retreats, seminars, and full-board experiences, we also offer 14 rooms with private bathrooms and views of the Grand-Saint-Bernard Valley, in a setting conducive to sharing, reflection, and unwinding.
So whether you’d like to rent out your own barn or bring your group together for a turnkey experience, Montagne Alternative offers you a unique setting in the heart of the mountains.
Our services
Check-in can be done between 3pm and 6pm. Late arrivals are possible independently.
Check-out is by 11am at the latest
Half-board and full-board meal plans are available for groups of 10 or more; please contact us for more information. If you rent one of our barns, you’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals. We’re also happy to recommend nearby restaurants located less than 15 minutes from Commeire.
In order to preserve the charm and tranquility of the hamlet of Commeire, we provide a free parking area located right next to the entrance of the village, along the wall.
In case of high demand, a second free parking area, about a 5-minute walk away, is also available.
Please do not park in the residents' parking area located at the top of the hamlet, as it is reserved exclusively for residents. Any vehicle parked there may be moved to ensure access for residents.
