Practical information: The road to Commeire is cleared throughout the winter. However, during this period, snow tires or chains are essential and required by law in Switzerland.
Since the hamlet of Commeire is a pedestrian-only area, there is only limited parking available at the village entrance. We encourage you to use public transportation, carpool, and/or arrange for a shuttle service.
A free parking area is available in Orsières for carpooling and taxi-bus shuttle services.
